A 2023 Indian Tamil-language horror comedy film titled Chandramukhi 2 is directed by P. Vasu and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu under the Sun Pictures label. Raghava Lawrence, Kangana Ranaut, Vadivelu, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, and Shruti Dange are among the actors who appear in the movie. The long-awaited follow-up to the 2005 smash hit Chandramukhi, which starred Superstar Rajinikanth in the title role, is titled Chandramukhi 2. In this movie, R. D. Rajasekhar’s artwork takes center stage, while Anthony’s editing makes sure that the action moments are as fluid as silk. A magnificent music is provided by the Academy Award-winning M.M. Keeravani, with lyrics written by Chaitanya Prasad, Yugabharathi, Vivek, and Madhan Karky. This movie is produced by Subashkaran’s Lyca Productions, with distribution handled by Sun Pictures and music rights managed by Sony Music India.
Chandramukhi 2 Story
Seventeen years after the events of the previous movie, Murugesan, a rapacious businessman, has gained possession of the Vettaiyan Raja’s palace and turned it into his personal haven. A new family moves into the castle in a last-ditch effort to escape their own financial and personal issues. They quickly realize, however, that they have made a terrible error, and the family soon finds themselves in deeper danger than they could have ever anticipated.
The room where Chandramukhi had been imprisoned for 17 years on the west side of the house was specifically advised against by the priest to Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, and Shruti Dange. The three women, however, were intrigued and eager to learn what was going on inside the room. They disregarded the priest’s advice and let Chandramukhi’s wrath out by opening the door. The women were controlled by the vengeful spirit, which wrecked havoc in their lives. The sad love affair between Vettaiyan Raja and Chandramukhi still haunts the mansion. The new occupants must figure out how to end Chandramukhi and Vettaiyan’s revenge tale before it’s too late for them to do so.
